Clouds wait above me To receive the gift of life Another lays here dieing The soul taking Flight Among the clouds he waits For his bride of the mortal world To live together in forever His eternal passionate flame Without the guidance of the saints Through perils she must pass To be reunited with her beloved She must feel undying pain To face the wrath of spirits past To face the past and regret To forgive for her misguided actions And to be forgiven once again We behold the past with remorse And forget the futures gifts We live life with regret And forget how to forgive We teach out young to be fair Never to judge without the ability to see And we seem to forget our own words And pass judgment upon people we never meet She sees all she ought have done And the future as it could have been Feels the pain of lost time And understands all she has seen We have forgotten all the important things Love, Life, Joy, Beauty, and Faith And so we spend countless days Merely living, occupying space Only in understanding Do we see how it was supposed to be What was intended for each of us Compared to what we see And so she forgives herself For the wrongs of her life And passing past the pain He welcomes her into the afterlife " idle minds are the path of the mystical " Blackdrake |

Where have you been hiding? This is quite good, and I think I'll save it and read it again later. An interesting read. I wonder how this got so far down the page. There are many truths intwined within this. There is the story, and what seems to be the narrator's thoughts to himself as the poem goes on. I enjoyed this. I am many. |
