Thunder in my heart Tears tearing me apart I have no one to lean on Guess I am on my own Strength you gave to my fall Stretching your hand to hold mine As I went deeper in life's trench Only rising from your call Images I had forgotten Gradually, calmly, somehow return My mind shadowed in misery's den I begun to feel the softness of love Time has caught up, now I'm alone I will sit and wait, and dream, and hope Remembering the sweetness of your embrace I will treasure each moment I can trace Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love |

This is sad, I guess one should never offer a hand unless they are willing to hold on Carolina |

Lovely expression, Daniel. It's important to remember though, no matter how alone we feel, we are never truly alone. All those whose lives we've touched hold us in their hearts. Hope you feel better soon. All writing comes |

*sigh* these are feelings I share with you as do many of us here. My heart went out to you as I felt the tears while reading this poem. You have a tender and gentle heart that will surely be embraced by a luckly lady again and then your arms will no longer be empty nor will you be on your own. **hugs** Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams. |
