Act I You entered my life like an unexpected storm I was swept away by the force Your love was spoken in a loud roaring voice I responded with admiration Your truthfulness was scripted well on your face I memorized every word Your arms were my blanket; shielding me from truth I was comforted by the warmth Your whispers were the fuel keeping the fire going I will realize soon the burning... Act II You left my life like an unexpected storm I was knocked down by the force of the gale Your love was taken away in a loud roaring voice I was confounded by your contraries Your truthfulness was scripted all over your poker face I responded with a four flush Your arms once shielded; now they pointed to the truth I was comforted by reality Your whispers were a nonsensical jumble of words I realize now that you were an imposter Final Act: I cried, I laughed.. I almost lost my head I would have preffered to play the leading role instead You did fantastic job yourself, you simply stole the show! There is only one more thing you need to know. I suppose I got carried away with my character, because my heart did really brake Accept your Oscar, just leave my heart ... it simply isn't yours to take. "I woke you up and I slit the throat of your confidence, and we laughed in the night and I felt alright..." (3EB) [This message has been edited by Lady Lost (12-31-2001 08:33 AM).] |

Bethy; I love the style of this, but not the heartache that you had to endure...you deserve better and I am storming heaven that God sends you the very best! One who will love you for the beautiful woman that you are, inside and out! All my Love, Mom A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails. |

This is a great read. I love the way you formatted your message into acts. Sometimes life seems to take a roll of its own leaving us as the audience. I'm sorry for your heartache and wish you well, but I'm glad to have read this post. |

Extremely remarkable ... deserving of a standing ovation. You have searched the means to your hearts demise and found a way to honor its silent whispers. Brava!! If I had a dozen roses I would throw them at your feet. (Okay ... I lied. Two dozen!!!) |

great writing--well crafted and emotive as well. There is society where none intrudes, by the deep sea, and music in its roar. |

Great Poem, it swept me up into its drama and where the anticlimax leaves ones soul feeling a touch of emptiness and despair, with you I am there. |
