Stairway Of Remember ~*Marge Tindal*~ On this stairway I ascend reaching for old memories etched within Each step a memory I would not have missed just as the returning vision of our first kiss Stepping lightly up the stairs gingerly touching the memories we've shared Not missing a footprint left behind draped on the staircase of my mind A look that held me in gazing mesmerize lifting me to new heights, seen through your eyes Knowing that each memory is a treasure to count among the memoried pleasures A hug from arms that did so enfold this heart that needed to be told someone cares for me and so one more step up the staircase I go A love that grew to hold me close a love that I ... 'almost' let slip away in a moment of indecision and now ... it's the very next step I envision As I ascend the stairway tonight I thank our Father up above for giving you the patience waiting for me to come to you with a foreverly kind of love Now at the top of the memory chart you stand at the doorway to my heart When you knocked I let you in ... never gonna be the same again For loving you is just the greatest thing this lady has ever known and being loved by you is the greatest treasure I'll ever own So take my hand and walk with me across the steps of eternity This stairway holds the path of our dreams to take us to foreverly~ *For Bill - inspired by Vicky's request for a 'remember' poem~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

Yes I know I always say that but then you always write to utter perfection Truly this is such wonderful staircase of remember, utterly perfect Normally your writing is wonderful this is even better than normal.
