Can you feel my presence-
Standing by your side?
I am with you always-
No need to try and hide.

No place that you can flee me-
No chance I'll go away.
I'll haunt you in your dreams at night-
Your thoughts throughout the day.

I'll whisper in the darkness-
And tell you how I feel.
You'll know it is the truth, dear-
The feelings all too real...

The breeze will be my soft caress
Upon your fevered brow...
Each shadow is my silhouette-
You'll see my courtly bow...

The falling rain, my teardrops-
You sensed it when I cried...
Be sure I'll haunt you always-
I'm always at your side.

Not sure if this is what you meant in the poem. But it made me think of my conscience and my memories, that are always with me and never leave my side. I like this, though, as I say, I may have derived a different meaning from the one you wrote

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?

this took me back and forth-- saw it from a loved ones view, as well as that of a stalker-- I like the way it can be taken either way-- very nicely done.

Wow! What a wonderful story and told so well. I was not too sure how to take it either and I like that....a poem that leaves me to ponder and reflect. Good write!
