The search for the end of one. I paint a picture inside my mind With me caressing the dream I need It drives me into looking Into places frozen in time For past memories haunt me into giving up But I need my image to hunger for My picture has to live in my mind Where the temperature to create her Will blossom her into creativity That will create the landscape Of splendid fantasies Where I am laid bare to explore The possibilities of the colors of life Blending them into a dimension That frees up my mind in love In the passion that I can word things To create my palaces for when reality Will lay bare it image before me Into the dimension that all senses live To feel her breathe next me In the hot flashes of hunger To burn away my frozen thoughts In to the climax of my life Holding her dear D.Lester Young (12/29/01) Tuscaloosa, AL Copyright © D.Lester Young (White Eagle poetry) |
