My body betrays me whenever you're near My heartbeat races so fast And angel voices from heaven I hear Whenever I see you walk past Your touch on my hand your kiss on my brow Causes my body to sweat I need you; I want you in the here and the now To love with no lingering regret My breath becomes sighing as you hover close My eyelashes flutter so fast My body betrays me but I am morose That all of our loving can't last My palms are sweating my vision is blurred All at the touch of your hand Gently caressing my passion is stirred And I will melt on command My body betrays me my heart does too How can I ever compete? Give in to the madness love you through and through Accept that you make me complete Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |
