Afraid No More I was afraid to care ---- I was afraid to share My heart was afraid it might break in two My whole inner being was afraid of the pain from loving you. I wanted to share, I wanted to care I wanted the security of your love I wanted to grow old with you and be with you in heaven above. I wanted to be your one and only wife I wanted your arms around me keeping me safe from strife. There was so much I wanted to say It is so difficult now that you have gone away. Let your conscious be your guide I wasn’t unfaithful; you were the one who lied. Now that time has gone by, and our lives have changed My heart is healing, and my nerves are not deranged. I am not afraid any more. |

Noah: Thank you so very much for your reply. I read it three times and I appreciate your honesty. Thank you for the kiss too! Mr. "M": We all have written these words, and I thank you for your comments. Life does go on and I just take each day one day at a time. You are sweet - appreciate the kind thoughts. A |

Sandra Thanks for stopping by. Strength isn't the word - lots of hard work not to pick up the telephone and call him, but that would be taking a step backwards. I am happy that you liked it. |

Kethry: Thank you for your words of encouragement and I am happy that you liked it. It is sad, but the only way to get your thoughts out is to write about them. |
