and so saw me beyond my subterfuge; past the coy analogies and metaphor of ruse. I knew my game was done. Yet much to my surprise— Delight! We had just begun. no, a woman, like myself. “Dance with her” you offered, “you seem to know her well.” Although she was quite willing to join me for a drink; I was beyond my element— she proved too much for me to think. and I don’t really mind… You’re my captain. I’m your crew. The sailing is sublime. and I am here. somehow we do connect. Forever, love, friends we shall be More to us, and more to ME Than mere sport of sex. |
