Where, pray tell, did it all begin and how far do we go before the end I know in my soul, you were always there in my heart’s beat, you’ll always share It wasn’t the smile, it wasn’t the look nor even the words coming from a book It was…it is…ahh, how do you explain the feeling of being, once more again Only the warmth of the summer sun can match what you give and what you have done What was, is, and is, ever was and ever it be, as ever it does But for the moment in time, that is this place we stand together in close embrace No words are needed, no words to say we only have times moments before going away When you came, we knew it then and grasped the moment in sweet begin Humans not, seeking spiritual bond only spirits reliving from the beyond So on this spot of earth we hold this is the time of our behold Swirls of life force that gathered deep bringing together in constant keep |
