Above the clouds my love drifts to you
pushed along by Angels wings
softly my love reaches you
and a lovers song it sings

Dream of me
and I
will be
your
destiny

The dark of night is where I’ll be
in the shadows of your sleep
closer than a breath away
softly to you I will creep

Dream of me
and I
will be
your
destiny

Quietly I slip to your side
and take you in my embrace
my heart has found in you
a memory it will not erase

Dream of me
and I
will be
your
destiny

let none undo, where once was one, now be two!"

This is gorgeous, both the thoughts and the soft way it is written. Reminds me of a place I spend a lot of time...in my dreams...in someone elses dreams. Love this one very much Sharon

Sharon, this is beauiful. I remember when I was so sure of destiny, and who it meant for me. But I was proven wrong. Sigh.
Happy holidays, and beautiful dreams.

Poet deVine,
serenity was right...this is bewitching. The title suggested a command the verse implied it is a spell! Fabulous. Consider me spellbound and bewitched!

Let me first put out a disclaimer - I am not responding to this because you are the or a administrator...I never follow the herd of sheep just for the sake of following.

Witht that being said, I did find this poem to be well written, well rhymed, with an excellent cadence. The way your, what I call "choruses" were structured added an additional impact to your message.

Romantic...from the deep caverns within your heart, indeed.
