A Passion’s Sonnet

When I first entered this new world
And saw words of poetry swirled
I knew what I found was so rare
Words of people who really care

Some lasting friendships have been made
I could share my words, not afraid
Gained a freedom I never knew
And for that I have to say thank you.

A wonderful circle of friends
With past pain you can make amends
While words of understanding
Help you be strong, keep you standing.

Within these blue walls I’ve found home
From it’s comfort I’ll never roam.

"My heart is like an open book, for the whole world to read"

Rosepetals- I know I just came on board, but this is a nice ode to the people you have met here and to the words we all write.  By the way, I like the Motley Crue quote.

Dave -  I'm glad you liked the poem. You have come to a very special place.  And *chuckles* I used to be a very big fan of Motley Crue in my younger days It's nice to know someone appreciated the quote It's one of my favorite songs to this day.

Tara,

You are a fixture here, much like other names of long time members and friends I could mention.  No, please never roam, my friend.  As for me, you already know my thinking on the matter.  (((hugs)))
