A Place

Where water washes on the sand
A place where ocean meets with man
It’s here I walk along the edge
Of lapping waves on dreamer’s ledge

Within the voice of mountain falls
I sit upon a rock that calls
Where flowing waters meet with me
I let my visions dangle free

In woods of lush and leafy green
Where man encounters nature’s queen
It’s here I pause to contemplate
This day, this hour, and this, my fate

On footpath I have often plod
A place where man can meet with God
On Allegheny’s highest ridge
“Tween God and man there is a bridge

I want to be where I can feel
The richness of the true, the real
The rhythms of the ocean’s tide
The shade where fawn and doe abide

I want to walk the rim of height
The peak of promise, edge of night
A place within these dreams of ours
Where I can reach and touch the stars

How do you do what you do, well you've done it again and I liked, yes I did, very much. If this doesnt make sense its because Im speechless.

Elizabeth - Being amidst nature's wonders can be such an awe inspiring and spiritual experience.  You really captured that feeling very well with this write.  Very good.

Beautiful - but on your way, could you stop in and perhaps kick a wave or two with me?
