It's A Do 'Ron' Thang
~*Marge Tindal*~

~*~

Thanking the host of Passions
for being the best there is
Fair, compassionate and caring
in this poetic home of his~

Thanking him - here and now
for the unmatched decorum
in the best poetry site on the Internet
The Passions In Poetry Forums

All he asks of each of us
is to be part of this Family Of Friends
Sharing poetry and merriment
from beginning to end~

I'd like to take a moment
to express appreciated praise
for the man who lets us spend
our nights and our days
in friendship colored with poetry
for one and all to share
Thank you, Ron, for this home
and the joy beyond compare~

Happy Holidays to you, Ron~

Walking through the Winter Wonderland

Christmas time has come once more
Father Frost and Saint Nicolas knocking on your door
A crisp shiver lies within the air tonight
The lights throughout the city shine so bright
Silent lies the city; no soul will cross my way
A star shines into my eyes with colors oh so gay
Fallen have now all the leaf
As I walk through the night on Christmas Eve'

A Christmas carol comes to mind
And I start singing to unwind
The sound echo’s through the empty alley
As I’m walking along through Christmas valley
The windows filled with light and glitter
A chilling wind that makes me shiver
I think of you to keep me warm
I wish we could walk along together arm by arm
I put my hand back into the sleeve
As I walk through the night on Christmas Eve'

My thoughts carry a wish especially for you my friend
May harm and sorrow be prevent
May all your days are filled with happiness and laughter
From this day forward and there ever after
May all the best will come to you
May all your dreams will come true
I wish this for you with all my heart
May an Angel stand for you on guard
I come to the river around the bend
As I finish my walk through this Winter Wonderland

Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
And all the best to you Ron and the ones you Love
My thoughts will be with you

The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools.

The invisible man behind the blue
The poet of passion, is looking at you
From behind secret curtains, in wizardly ways
He opened a window to lighten my days

Once confined to a chair, now I soar into space
Once in silence I dwelt, now the wind can't erase
What's been sketched on a silvery tablet of light
That is there in the morning and glows in the night

The wizard looks out, but he doesn't look in
To see how my spirit is stirred from within
To look at the magical power of dreams
To read those small words that have built self esteem

He never will know of the food I partake
Of the wine that enhances the rhymes that I make
For I sit at a table abundant with friends
And nourish my soul through the ink of a pen

How grateful I am for the poet of blue
The invisible wizard, who makes it come true

Best regards, Ron

Marge... this was wonderful of you to write and post this for Ron... thank you!!!!

Ron.....

you are Passions
beautifully woven with
verse, the first thoughts
of poets blending, sending
hearts to share, wisdom to feel,
souls  once cold now warm,
the forming of a miracle born,
blind before and now
a site to see
and you, my friend
are truly the beginning
of the all of us winning
back a voice,
souls spinning making music,
offing the noise of nothing,
the more than something of it
the everything and all
coming out because of the call
of blues paged out in sync
for all you do!
two thousand and two
just a blink of an eye
past an eternity
of work

your blood of toil wringing
in the wings and with the word
and oh how spoiled we are
with the blessings of
finally being heard!!!!!

--------------

THANK YOU, Ron!!!!!!!!!!!!! for 2 and a half years full of wonder, exploration, growth and beauty!!!! i love you
