For many, who suffered so much
From Terror's grossest Holocaust,
Losing their dear friends and loved ones
Oh what a sad, horrible loss!

The shock of it has not settled
Like dust and debris everywhere,
But their Life's caught in a vaccuum
Of times and seasons, unaware.

To these, the only songs playing
Are not of delight, but a dirge,
Festivities are a Funeral
With grief which surpasses all words.

To such we would pour out our hearts
And hoping their pain will subside,
This year when they called off Christmas
'Tis the year that old Santa died!

... and grateful are we that Santa speaks for Jesus - with love that's truly immortal... May our prayers be with those who've lost loved ones this year, and hope that their lives will be recompensed with love and support this holiday season...

Thank you, kind sir - For reminding us all to take a moment to pray...

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown

Though the loss be quite profound,
Shatterd dreams all run aground,
Holidy songs have different sound,
Yet hope in Christ may still be found.

May those who have suffered the great loss you speak of seek the true source of peace and comfort that is only be found in our blessed Savior.

Well written , thoughtful poem here. Dennis

Let's hold them close in our hearts and in our prayers. So many lives have been devastated. God bless them all.
