Within Every Whisper By: Noah Eaton 12/21/01 Within every whisper I can feel you breathe A caress as soft as silk… A tender recede... Within every whisper In every skipped heartbeat of delight In each smiles corona I can hear your sexy Spanish guitar of passion recite Camellia of my heart The azalea that frames my dreams You have shown me the primrose path You are my queen of the prairie Together we’ll build bridges to Eden We’ll inscribe earthly heaven with cupid’s quill We’ll have our honeymoon over the rainbow Finger-painting serenades with loves will Within a whisper I feel your love Smooth Slick Silky Soft… For we are two hearts with one love One man, one woman, one soul Embraced together by destiny’s compass rose We’ll tread softly with fingers entwined, never to let go Within your whisper I see this bright eternal vision forever Of a happy and romantic honeymoon That will last ever after… Within my whisper I will kiss your heart Feeling for dear life How much I love you, my love I love you… I love you… I love you… [This message has been edited by Mistletoe Angel (12-21-2001 06:26 PM).] |

Noah... first off, congratulations on the 3000. I've definitely been enjoying your poetry and feedback in these forums, you're a fantastic member and I'm glad that I came back in time to meet you. Your dedication to Passions is really admirable, as is your skill in emotional poetry. This poem in particular, I thought had some really good imagery... lots of texture was described, you appealed to the sense of touch with metaphors and similies like "touch as soft as silk," and the various references to soft substances. You have a lot of great metaphor work in this poem, some wonderfully phrased lines... Your poetry is very modernized, so heartfelt. You're a good poet, Noah...
