Until The Thaw....No Tears Will Fall |

Snow falls around me as frosted breath swirls. Crunching feet echoing against the silence. A trail of prints leading into the distant woods. Serene calm surrounds me as each step taken. A tear gathers with a melted flake, trailing down. A chilled heart with ache, beating a soulful sound. White bows sadly bend as if knowing the pining. A mind silently trying to mend, ever reminding. A trail of lonely moments continues into eternity. Disturbing only the silence, walking infinitely. A mill stream below a bridge beckoning lovers. Frozen till the Spring thaw, only then recovers. Now a drought of tears, my soul marches here. Only in the dark the shadow of another clear. Sleep brings out the ache, fills the stream dry. Till then...not a sole tear will again damp an eye |

*sigh* this brought back wonderful memories of walking through the words and enjoying the silence. I would love someday to share that kind of silence with someone. I love this poem. It is tender and touches the heart. **hugs** Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams. |
