-Based on a true story

A tale of the plush princess...

She was the princess of plush
with the darling appeal of lush
Giving her all to her lovers
Yet they placed the
miscellaneous above her

All she ever wanted was to
feel the tamed flames of love
But what transpired were the tears
and broken wings of a dove
So she cried, cried, and cried from
her mistreated and so broken heart
Not understanding and demanding
that her love from her would part

After many nights that her
awful past haunted her dreams
She built her bravado and moved
on to bigger and better things

She craved revenge for the
agony that's been done to her
And made a pact, a promise
that such pain wouldn't again occur
Never again would she
pour out all from her heart
to merely have it scavenged upon,
then mangled and torn apart

A tale of the poetic prince...

This is a tale, the truth
of a genuine poetic prince
Who has loved and lost and
hasn't felt the same way since

He recited his love in
such a charismatic fashion
He did his best to express
his tender heart of true passion
But what he thought wasn't wrong
wasn't actually right-
The roses, the kisses...
the whole entourage of delights

To this day he doesn't know
what compelled a heart so hurt
As the years overthrew the tears
he thought it to be a curse

Maybe his stuborness,
his complexity
Doomed him forever of love
and true ecstasy
To never be given
a second chance
To make right the wrong
and dwell in romance

But he made a pact, a promise
that if his chance came he'd trust
her heart and her feelings
for love over lust

One prayer:That it's not
a deception by the curse
Second prayer:That she'll trust
her heart with him won't be hurt

A tale of the
plush princess and poetic prince...

Out of sheer fate these
two crossed paths
Unaware of the pacts, the promises
that each of them have

They fell in love with each
other all so very much
The prince of poetry
and the princess of plush
She gave him many treasures
from her depths within
He gave her his poetic love
again and again
He gave his all to her,
he loved, and loved, and loved
her a thousnad times multiplied
by the Heavens high above

He was destined to live out
his pact, his promise so true
And yet she was destined to
live out her bond also to
For she loved him but she knew that
her pact, her promise must commense
Oh how she loved and would
hate to hurt this poetic prince
Her trust couldn't go as steep
She's been wounded way too deep
And now arrives the mystery
of why these two came to meet

In time they eventually
made amends to depart
Their pacts, their promise in tact
All to be left was a broken heart
Not the heart of the princess
because she never gave her all
The prince died with a broken heart
because he gave her his all

-Live by the love, die by the love

Ah, Life!  I would rather experience all joys and regrets, than not at all.  Enjoyed this, thank you!
