Is this the season to be jolly deck the boughs and put up holly? Am no fool to see seasons endlessly flow am a witness to see fashions come and go. everyday things we take for granted swept under rugs for the disenchanted, they had their marvel way back then discoveries were hatched upon the glen. take the simple washing soap users complained it did not float, workmen by error, left on the mixers and voila, air filled soap was the new elixer. wrapped soap in a box, what kind of gift is that? why risk being cheap and a dirty l'il rat, so human sheep go all out of their way to gift wrap the latest fashion on display. t'is the season to be jolly deck the boughs and put up holly, finding fashion needs throughout the ages goes through growth and developed stages. This is a good poem, and if it stays at a zero count, for sure it's not going to get a read. |

A soapbubbly toast to you, Martin.... Of course you will get replies... This is a great poem, its just that most people are getting ready for Santa and his reindeer tonight. I posted one last night and it only got two replies.... Don't worry...everyone will be back after they have opened their gifts, eaten their turkeys and had a wonderful Christmas celebration. Of course, if you celebrate Chanukah like you and I do, its all over already. Happy New Year. copyright2001 Lyra Nesius |

Martin- Very amusing. I wish soap was still an appropriate gift to give. I would then be able to save a lot of money. By the way, did your poem go to the top when you posted a reply? I find when I reply to people who have read my poem, my post just stays where it is, stuck on page 2,3 or whereever it is. I am guessing that this is how this site works, but I just wanted to see if you are experiencing the same thing. Dave |
