In the darkness I dream of you. I see the time of Sweet days gone by I heard the voice I knew The echoing of your words I love you I need you They still strike chords How was I suppose To know it was all lies I was so trusting My heart now cries. Tears of disappointment Of betrayal Burn my soul I awake with resentment You haunt my dreams My mind’s thoughts Will you ever leave Will I ever find The peace I sought |

Your pain fills each word of this poem. Betrayal can be so incredibly painful. My heart goes out to you. **hugs** Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams. |
