A cut through resistant leathery surfaces, a fruit's life on earth has other purposes, to fill the gullet and quench earned thirsts community members munch together, slowly at first. We seek inner juices from the cracked open shells harbour delight as sweet odours work their spells, fashion our lives around dessert draped tables while the elderly equip us with bygone fables. some of the slices are ready as peeled others bleed their juices when thin skins yield, our culinary customs arranged in abundant displays unfairly represent world discord and forays. When elders have spoken their piece of advice as young ones glut at fruit cups and spice, of the yield that I slice, I'll remember its seed of the juice that is spent, I'll pay elders more heed. (tears fall down my cheeks) So wonderfully written, dearest Martin, the true fruits of life always come from the heart. May we forever value all the love and stories that speak from our loving hearts. (big hugggssssss) I pray with all my heart that we can all always love and appreciate one another together and share all our love and stories to each other! (sad sigh) Very well expressed, dearest friend! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Martie, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton [This message has been edited by Mistletoe Angel (12-19-2001 04:37 PM).] |
