on the horizon of a fairytale

Hush...the screams of silence. As
emptiness fills the room, darkness
steals the light.

Corners move in closer, reaching
for the other, doorframes move
in quickly, untill they are no more.

Growing in size, finding no breath.
Strangled by the pain of fear...SOMEONE
GET ME OUT OF HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Annie, I'm with you on this one! I have a bit of claustrophobia, and will not use an elevator unless necessary. This is a vivid description of a panic attack. LOL, it's much more interesting to read it than feel it.

There are times one wants to hide, but you've given one every reason to NOT hide in a closet...

thank you!

exactly how I would feel if I got stuck, I don't even like them that much to start with!
Enjoyed.

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Annie, I know just how you feel, and elevators too scare me all the time. (sigh) I would always take the stairs if I could! (big hugggssssss) Soooooo emotionally powerful, sweet Annie, your words are always such a pleasure to read! (kiss on cheek) You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Annie, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Thank you everyone.
A very frightening experience for one who is claustrophobic.
Glad you enjoyed this.

ever deep...runs
the wishing well
for fairytale illusions
