ribbons curling 'round
Santa soon he'll come to town
clean the chimney quick

Haiku

cardinal sing clear
holly berries bring one near
red on red delight

(smiles) These are soooo gorgeous, sweet friend, better clean the chimney before Santa comes! (giggles) I love both of them so much, the cardinal sung to me in the last one! (kiss on cheek) Oooohhhh...I just know Son will love these! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet lady, thank you for sharing!

Beautiful.

Forgive my nitpicking, but .... they are both Senryus.  Haikus must be all about nature without human or personal reference as the two pronouns you used "me and you."

Now, if I am wrong, please accept my most heartfelt apology in advance and I shall do whatever penance you give me
