           “NIGHT WHISPERS”
a duet by Bill Charles & a friend
                ~~~~
Soft, the face of moon in rise,
as dark of night begins its trait,
can see you, whispers in these eyes,
of presence wrapped, awaiting fate…
I gaze with you softly, faces of the moon,
dark of night prevails, not our darkness,
for I see also you, and together soon,
one touch of you, forever ageless…
Each star that twinkles, patterns form,
shall draw upon these love thoughts, mine,
to light the way, to coat you warm,
nourish dreams, each night to dine…
Stars in the heavens, your face I see,
warm into my being, my love wanting,
lighting the dark, surrounded with me,
to dine, but also into the night, burning…
I send my whispers in the night
from lips that kiss, of gentle soul
to steal your breath, however slight,
to feel your touch, as night grows old…
My senses yours, my night whispers,
I give myself, my lips on you,
they steal my soul, break my barriers,
I seek your depths, as I explore…
I shall await your morning touch,
my breath is yours, in love of such…
You will not wait long this morning,
I breathe into you, your alluring…
The perfect duet, when voices meld and compliment the other, is this. *s
