Deep in the heart

Take this hand offered to thee, my own love.
Take this heart offered to thee, my desire.
Take my love offered to thee, hand in glove,
The perfect fit of which thou wilt ne’er tire.

Thine eyes speak to me of love to be shared.
Thy words fall on me softly as velvet.
Thy countenance shines, of all pretense bared,
Shown only to me since the first we met.

Our lips meet softly, love slowly sipping.
Thine eyes closed in love, lips parted for me,
Our bodies melting, warm heartbeat tripping,
Pounding, declaring a love meant to be.

Silently giving that eternal bliss,
Love’s true assurance in this lovely kiss.

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.
