You Are There Some day you will smile at the darkening sky As stars spread a black veil of polk dot gleams You’ll see fires burn in a woman’s dark eye As soon as you notice my passionate dreams Sometime in the future, when shadows are deep And fantasy visions have enterd your mind You’ll allow lover’s nature to suddenly sweep Into the warmth of embrace that is mine I’ll wait for the moment to silently fold In a blanket for two wrapped in balm of the night For sooner or later the time will unfold And you will be near me, embracing me tight Just as soon as you see how I bathe in the stars As soon as you notice the depths of my love Whenever it happens that sign from afar You too will be held by the light from above Perhaps you’ll regret that you somehow let go The one who would love you, the one you didn’t see If only a songbird that sang long ago Had whispered desires of love within me The sky can’t conceal it’s sweet canopy lights Nor cover the fire in a woman’s dark eye That glows from the heaven’s invited delights To a woman in love from the soft twilight sky Some day you will notice the shades of the lake Turning blueness to black,in the shadows of dark Some day you’ll discover the flames that you make In a woman’s dark eye were conceived of a spark You are there, I am here, just awaiting your eyes To fall into the flames from the polkadot skies Elizabeth santos |

Now this is truly a masterpiece. Someday someone will know of the rare treasure they let go. Absolutely stunning. A poem that would melt the heart of any lover. **hugs**You have met the challenge with grace and skill.  Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams. |
