These Flames Will Burn On |

~These Flames Will Burn On ~ Who says that love has to ease from passion fire? Or that we shall lose this constant urgent desire? Where is it written that I can’t still go weak? Or that I know I’m all you’ll ever want or seek? Why do people say that passion can’t still flame? Whenever I hear you softly breath out my name I know that for all time I will still burn for you And I know that you'll still want me as much too Who says that you won’t still inspire such heat? Or that my heart will one day not skip a beat? What sort of rule is it that says this will fade? Or that we won’t recall the love we have made? Where is the proof that this is a passing phase? Or that love is like being lost in a maze I know my way out but I don’t want to go away And I know that with you I will always stay Who declares that the flames that lick my skin Will fade soon and we’ll no longer wish to sin? What sort of rule is it that says I won’t ignite? When you touch me in the middle of the night I thought like the others that we’d cool this heat And my heart wouldn’t race and my pulse not beat I know now that I will continue to burn for you And our flaming passions will always flare too There’ll be no dying flames or embers growing cool We’ll continue to be immersed in loves deep pool The flames will burn on throughout night and day And we will continue to invite each other to play The touch of your silken skin will always thrill me And my lips will always trail across you heatedly There’ll be no slowing down we will shed fire And you and I will always soar on ever higher Marsha To give light to them that sit in darkness..... to guide our feet into the way of peace St John ch2 v1 |

Thank you again my friends for reading this. you must remember this is England here and although I'm a softy Southerner it still gets very cold here. Okay it's not snowing yet but it's on its way we've been told. Opeth what? asks Marsha with a look of fallen innocence on her face I'm a good girl I am  TrulyPeaches thank you I like a bit of heat you know Noah you are soooooooooo very very sweet thank you.
