Create in 20 minutes of frustration with sleep. I hope I created the right note of words. I will dedicate this to Teresa Jodray whose creative notes live in her photographs, works and mostly her. Enjoy my frustration. With fingers of sound My mind created the blend of vibrations That carried with them the heavens Which opened up the inspirations in all of us For as the music sent out a hypnotized cloud Swirling into the cracks of the minds of a captive audience No one will be safe from its effects For much like the flute that stole the children These notes will steal your time And most of your heart For it comes from so deep in me That it virginality lay open to explore Like a new born child crying for the first time My fingers spanked the notes out For a lifetime of enjoyment To join the baby into a smile For the intensity that is quaked out Will inspire the next generation to create With the total energy of a erupting volcano Into a chorus of angels So that the new music created Will go beyond mine For their contribution and some of mine D. About two years ago I rediscovered Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf. The musical instruments represent characters. This line: "For much like the flute that stole the children" reminds my of that musical piece and how Peter had his adventure with the big bad wolf. Music can tell a story in a way we could never tell in words...and the musicians who can extort those images successfully are nothing short of Angels. I loved this...it brought to my mind many inspirations. Thankyou!! |

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Leslie, again you paint such beautiful visions, you always amaze me! (smiles) The music is in all of us, and together we will conduct a symphony of life as we contribute our scales and arpeggios of love in conduction! (sigh) The spirit of music plays from your words, sweet friend, I love it!!! (big hugggssssss) You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Leslie, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton |

I could hear piano notes and a lyrical flute as I read this. Thank you for the morning music! Your twenty+ minutes were well spent. |

Lester....I thought your poem was absolutely magnificent! I loved your imagery, especially in the first verse "With fingers of sound My mind created the blend of vibrations That carried with them the heavens" but all of it was excellent. Great job! copyright2001 Lyra Nesius |
