Yes, I would love to write you into forever
pull your body into mine
ignite some kind of wonderful
from lightning phrases dipped in sincerity,
cross the moon and pass the stars
and back again, time after time again.

Yes, I would love to read your
midnight offerings,
ignore the bittersweet for my
flesh screamed into
ecstasy from loving you
until I no longer had tears to weep
from feeling empty.

Yes, I would love to hear your voice
telling me those things
that make my senses spin
and my logic fade.

Yes, I would love it if our paths
would cross again
and our movements softly
swirled an explosion,
when lava breaths hissed,
a touch was my undoing,
and you took me down one
step further than a freefall.

You polished me until I shone,
twirled me along the rivers
of Eden and spent me until
I cried from satisfaction.

It was some kind of wonderful, darlin’
some kind of wonderful.
