Learning that people smiled if you smiled at them, he decided that grinning would be his way of winning. Learning that who you know will always beat out whatever one knows, he learned to learn whom to know. Learning that showing great confidence inspires the foolish to trust, he learned to do what he must. Noticing that simple could easily be disguised as complex, he found obfuscation worked best. Learning soon that a man could feel too much, he learned never to touch what might touch him. Learning that others often have better plans, he learned that scheming could beat out dreaming. Knowing very little of here, and nothing of there, he loved nothing more than his easy chair. Knowing little of this and nothing of that, he settled down to slowly grow fat. And finding life now inexplicably passing him by, he winked, nodded, and smiled goodbye. . I feel sad for that man for he never learned to live and love...such a lonely way to live his life. Wonderful words with great messages to us all. Will we too let life pass us by? **hugs** Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams. |

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Glenn, this is so very sad, my heart cries out to this person and his own private sorrow. (sad sigh) I pray with all my heart he will feel love from another and feel a new hope come to him! (sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton |
