Stockings Hung with Care |

The morn was yet to come over the night, But sleep alone is not easy to do, And dreams of love woke me before the light, My mind and heart were full flowing of you. I left the warm but lonely empty bed, To a shower as cold as I would dare, To freeze the dream fire from out my head, And then to find your stockings hung with care. You would return to wear those silk stockings, Not today, tomorrow or the next day, There they were my loneliness mocking Reminding me that you have gone away. Memories showered on my sleepy head, I left them hanging and went back to bed. |

The stockings, so symbolic of clinging to a hope and desire. Emotions of missing my loved one came rushing back to me as I read your words. Nice work! Cheers! Ter Alone in the dark, through my thoughts comfort I do seek, through my words I find peace. |

Such a sad but beautiful poem. Sometimes all you can do is go back to bed, and maybe back into that love dream. |

(sigh) Such a sad but beautiful sonnet, sweet Son! (big hugggsssss) It brought tears to my eyes to see her gone, but also made me smile knowing that with a loving heart like yours, you will feel true love again and forever, and happy memories of silk stockings and romance will fill your future. (sigh) We all love you so much, sweet Son, believe in yourself and your dreams can come true! (big hugggssssss) Sooooooo beautiful, sweet friend! You have suhc a beautiful heart, sweet Son, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton |

Rouge24/Ter? It’s amazing sometimes how those little things can bring rushing back so big of emotions Midnightsun, I should have stayed in bed and tried for the dream Noah, At least I know she’ll be back, a consolation. Your words are also a comfort. Bill |

Startime, Yes, she’ll be back, but anytime when she gone, is too much time. There are times you need a hug, the warmth of a body, the thoughts of another to make you feel. Bill |

Juanita, She’ll be back before Christmas, she travels a lot. She might be gone several times and back before then; the constant goodbyes are only consoled by the next hellos Bill |
