Once upon a time...
what does that line really mean?
Once love was heartfelt
upon lips there was the taste of sweet wine
a time when love was divine
nearly spiritual in truth
reflected in the passion
of a yearning romance
that started in a midnight waltz.
Now ghostly scenes haunt at midnight
where shadows of you fall on me
and I reach to find the lips
that were once mine,
once upon a time...
