Now for the final touch that will welcome Christmas to this little family who had not thought to enjoy the more sweet and delightful parts of a Christmas where want and need could be put aside for a little time Upon the mantle, next to the nativity that seemes to fill the room with soft love of the gentlest kind, is a music player waiting for the touch of magic that it can sing forth with the song White Christmas and call all awake As the first strains of music are heard the little elves are slipping out the window but not to go too far for they want to see the faces of little ones as they gaze upon the magic that is to be revealed In the bedroom the children, hearing the music, scramble from their beds to open the door on such a wonder that their young eyes have never seen before and cry with glee as they run to their mother to wake and come see Not awake yet but responding to the joyous voices of her children she drags herself from her bed to stand in stunned silence in the doorway open onto the most amazing site filled with things only her dreams could form With her children pulling at her and explaining that Santa had found them this year, she moves into a room she no longer recognizes as her own, for it is filled with Christmas cheer and the sweet sounds of music As the children dance around the room exclaiming over all the wonderful things she turns to the window to see that Christmas snow still falla and wonders if there is really something true to the old tale her mother told And if she had looked a little closer she would have seen two dozen tiny faces gazing with total delight on the scene of happy children watched over by a loving mother whose eyes flow with tears as she sends a prayer of thanks to Heaven for The Magic Of Christmas Snow Karen TorbiakĀ© The Magic Of Christmas Snow (part 1) /pip/Forum52/HTML/001923.html The Magic Of Christmas Snow (part 2) /pip/Forum52/HTML/001926.html The Magic Of Christmas Snow (part 3) /pip/Forum52/HTML/001959.html Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams. The magic of Christmas snow and warm hearts are through these poems. It must also be within you to write so sweet. Bill |

I sure hope they left MOM a pot of coffeee and maybe some Kahlua or Amaretto...to help her recover from shock and a mountaing of giftwrappings and ribbons. This has been a delightful series, Karen. I will save all 4 and email them to my sister-in-law. My brother will be in Angola for Christmas (working), not at home with his two kids. I think they will enjoy this. |
