Beyond Regrets

I don't care what the
skeptics say about love.
They tend to wonder
if it's real or not.
They like to keep track
of how many times they tried
and ended up with a broken heart.

We've all been down that
long winding road before.
Walking in the rain
and getting soaking wet.
Spending time crying
a million tears.
Lonely hearts filled
with pain and regret.

And yet I have experienced
the magic of love.
The absolute pleasure of
looking into a lovers eyes
and wanting to be with her
until the end of time.
And someday I am almost
certain that love forever
will be mine.

I like the upbeat feeling in this poem. If you keep your courage, you'll find love again, I'm pretty sure. And isn't it fun to look?

Nice poem!  We've read the theme a thousand times, but you've given it just enough of a new twist to make it viable.

You seem to have the attitude I need today. May I have some, please?   I love this..and its true..too true.

James...I don't think in all my years of
wisdom...I could have said it any better
than you have...for when we have experienced
the depth of true love....we certainly have
done it all....Nicely said..

Go for it James!  Go find that love that will last to the end of time, what have you got to lose?

Surely you will have this wonderful love again, James. I don't regret any of the love I have felt, either, no matter the outcome
