Morning beams penetrate the window
Softly caressing my skin
I’m lost in thoughts of you
My only sin

The chill is slowly fading
As sun dries morning dew
Still I find my heart
Wrapped up in thoughts of you

First cup of coffee gets me motivated
And I begin this bright new day
In my mind I still hear echoes
Of the beautiful things you say

Chores are but routine tasks
I accomplish to pass this time
Till once again I find its night
when I can set my soul to rhyme

In each line I write, each turn of phrase
to paper my heart I pen
waiting for that special time
I can be with you again

~SEA~

This flows so smoothly, like soft cream cheese on a warm bagel. Hmm, maybe I am hungry for a snack?

You are such a romantic, this is lovely.  That's what love should do....develop during the day until.....whoah!    There's a poem in there somewhere!
