Yearning When I am busy With no time to spare, My head you make dizzy; Torturing me; you don't care. Concentrate I must do, And finish my work. Yet I'm yearning to sit with you. Your timing is berserk! When my day is slow A dam you build between us. Let me in a hurry go And you can be your meanest. A true distraction you are. How nice to let my soul wander. More pleasant than chores by far, As your loveliness I ponder. Now I must leave you. Please don't be so sad As I say adieu. Remember the fun we had. We'll meet again soon. You'll fill my head. I'll write of love and moon; Or once more describe you instead! Jo Mason 12/11/01 |

Aren't muses a'musing? They come and go, flicker in and out....leave tasty tidbits of words and thoughts right there in your mind, asking you to "pen me, pen me..." and the moment you pick the time, and the paper, and the pen... it *poofs*... |

I sure do like your attitude. Humorously healthy and balanced, with amusing musings. |

Thank you all for your comments. I love reading what others think of my efforts. I'm very new to writing and find so much here to admire. I have a long way to go, but so far it has been a joyful trip. JoMason |
