Garden of Weedin’ My hands like grazing goats Pull barley, rye, and oats From out this garden place. Who sows this dreadful grain Within my flowers' domain? A toil I want not face! And wonder now do I What eyes of passers by See in this sacred space. See they this new flower breed Or that the unpulled weed? Behold the viewer’s grace! Our minds do have the need To grow from any seed And vine-like from it trace Through memory’s stem and shoot It seeks to grow and root Here in the Queen Anne’s Lace. |

LOL! It takes a special mind to come up with a title like that! I like it! |

Joe--I see a gardener, knees caked with mud..standing with hands on hips, and a smile. Because I love a garden, I enjoyed this look at yours, with its twist of philosophy. Thanks! |
