Midnight Kiss Feeling you lay so close to my side Your warmth, soft, reaching out to me I smile softly into the surrounding night Your chest rises and falls with every breath My heart sings with happiness and joy Knowing your heart beats with love for me My eyes take in your strong loving arms That hold me close, make me feel so safe Your hands rest quietly at your still side I can almost feel them stroke my hair In the comforting way that only you could do. I look over to see your sleeping profile So peaceful and lost in dreamtime Knowing the love in your dark eyes My eyes settle on your sweet soft lips That offer tender whispers of love.
