Nobody really knows you But you Do Reality Inside that brain Only you Truly live Others invited A world You alone Reign over Hopefully control They stomp Sometimes On your heart Still they can't touch Your thoughts Wishing for entrance Yet unworthy of acceptance Then there are those Waiting With true love Loving your mind Loving you |

Such beautiful thoughts you have, Sir Robert. You are right that no one really knows us. And only if we are blessed with true love will someone learn to love us for our mind. You have been one of those who has been blessed with such a love. I have always loved reading of the love you and your wife shared while she was alive. Through your writing you have shown me that such a love is possible. I am so very glad you have had it in your life. Sorry for going on and on. A wonderful poem that gave me pause for thought. Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams. |

There are some poetic works that touch a reader personally as though the words were written for them only... this is one of them... I love it! *smiles* ~Tier |
