standing on a shadow's lace

blindly
    I have
        walked
           through time

a stranger
    to a
       life
         suppose
            to be
              mine

another
    place
       an uninvited
           guest

who
    was the
       failure
          at this
             test

"I have already paid for all my future sins."  Sade...(King of Sorrow)

I Slick Lady,
this was one slick poem...it rolled off the tongue like satin, and I liked the format it gave me a sense of the ocean rolling in

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown

h,
it may
  appear
    when you
      are tested

that you'll
  walk away
    and think
      you're bested

but I'll
  suggest
    a life
      examined

is where
  you'll find
    your dreams
      relanded
