It is in good writing that I become ecstatic, for it makes my inner self glow with pride.

I grow tired inside and weep
For the slimmest chances seem to be darkening
That a magic dart of light
Of inspiration will make it beyond me

Into the world of pleasures
For as I make more
More is drained out of me
And all my fantasies evaporate

Into mists of doom
For it seems the harder I try, the less gets done
And in the strength of one man
The dreams cannot extend

Into the mind of others who feel a heart
As the virus in the email someone sent me
Spreads out from me
It chokes me much like live does now

My time has come to fly
But the doubt off others have kept me grounded
So I am left there limping for hope
That my words will reach beyond me and fly

Right now it is not the money but the pride
That is running amok within me
And as all the carpetbaggers are reaching for me
The bills of doom are approaching

They Chase me from the Citi of hope
For their interest is not mine
And as they pile it on
The less I have to give from both ends

But need not worry for I will take care
Of my frustration
By putting my life’s interest on theirs
To reduce it to zero

And as the government gets a surplus in fees
I will sing a song as I rip up the plastic
And as they plead their way back
Their failings of them to help last
Will now let them cease in me

Yes, gloom I write today
In the blues of those other cities
That feels there way into a sad smile with hope
And even with this tone
A poet dreams

Where there are emotions so cold
That the words make them hot
The dreamers of life will still seek
The simple pleasures in their pride

(sigh) Yes, even in the gloomiest of times, the heart can glow with pride! (smiles) May we all seek joy from the simplest pleasures of life and into our dreams associate the light! (sigh) Wisdom shines in every word, sweet friend, you sure are prolific tonight! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
