Summer Rose Let me go Let the pain cease I will take my final breath I will be in peace. Love to family Love to friends Tell them I am sorry But it has to end. The breeze in your hair The sun on your face I will lay by your side As you kneel to say Grace. I will not know jealousy Hatred or greed I will be at the root of all love I will be the seed. As the days pass You watch as it grows It is here that I lie Underneath the Summer Rose. To my Summer Rose, my Gran. May your years of strength help me in my darkest hours. Eternally, Ter. XO |

Terry, You know I was going to be the first to reply!  I knew that you painted and drew.. but I had no idea about your poetry... why didn't you tell me? I'm glad I know now.  This is beautiful! I look forward to reading your words of inspiration HoneyBee: I wrote this a while after I had a chance to get over the initial shock of my grans passing, I was hurt for a long while, but soon realized her pain was over and she wanted to move onto a happier place.
