The scene: Romeo is down by the car waiting for Juliet to get ready to go out for their 10th anniversary dinner. Juliet is on the balcony. Juliet's words are not highlighted. Romeo's are. Juliet's part was written by William somebody. O Romeo, Romeo! wherefore art thou Romeo? I'm down here Julie, really it's time for us to go! That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet. If you don't get it movin' babe, we won't even find a seat! How camest thou hither, tell me, and wherefore? I came down the stairs and out the front door. Thou know'st the mask of night is on my face. Well wipe the crap off and let's leave this place. Dost thou love me? I know thou wilt say "Ay." Yeah, yeah sweetheart, I'm one lucky guy. And I will take thy word; yet if thou swear'st. You're going to hear swearing, if you're still not dressed. Or if thou think'st I am too quickly won. If I knew how long it would take, I wouldn't have begun. I'll frown and be perverse, and say thee nay. Well make up your mind, do we eat or do we play? I should have been more strange, I must confess. You couldn't be more strange, to that I will attest! Well, do not swear. Although I joy in thee. I'll swear if I want! You're not the boss of me! What satisfaction canst thou have to-night? Probably sex, just like every other night. Too like the lightning, which doth cease to be. I'll be gone in a flash after I count to three! My bounty is as boundless as the sea. Yeah, that bounty's been growing since you married me. Yet I should kill thee with much cherishing. You just can't imagine the relief that would bring. Marsha, I don't think picking on Shakespeare is a smart thing around here. Thanks for your enthusiasm and for putting a smile on this old, weathered soul. Lyra, You're getting way too excited about the icons. I haven't tried using them yet. Sometimes the poems just don't connect with the people reading them. I'm glad you liked it. Thank you for the hug. It's been a long day. Roger |

Stevie, Thanks for your reply. I've determined that the people here like poems about toilets better than Shakespeare. My kind of crowd. Roger |
