I leaned back in my chair as I spoke to Balladeer.
"Have you seen the mushy love crap Lngjohn's been posting here?"
"What happened, do you think that Lorelei has got him whipped?"
"She's turned him to a girlyman, his masculinity's been stripped."

Once he was a jouster, one of the best, I must confess.
But now I wouldn't be surprised if I saw him in a dress.
He used to be a studly guy the girls would fairly swoon.
When that kitty-kickin sailor would walk into the room.

He's traded in his peg-leg for a pair of heels and purse
rewritten all his Toe-Tag rhyme's, for flowery love filled verse.
What happened to that sailor, somethings changed, he's not the same.
from now on when I see him 'round think I'll have to call him Lngjane.

Remember me with a smile on your face, or please don't remember me at all.

Lucie,
This was awesome. Testosterone is seeping from the cracks between the lines. Women know they're the stronger sex, but we men are basking in the glow of ignorance to that fact.

Ohhh, lil Lucie - tsk tsk - you are gonna get it now!!  ROFL - I haven't received a broadside from you in a long long time - when was the last time?  Oh, yeah, I remember - when I "spanked" you with a rebuke!

BTW - I love this poem, ya lil flirt!  You have such a great sense of humor.  And, you fit it beautifully into your poetry.  Well done!

NOW - LET THE SPANKINGS BEGIN!!!

Hey, Luce! I saw him last week -
One of those Las Vegas shows
Where men sing like sopranos
While dressed up in women's clothes!

He wore a slinky evening gown,
Stiletto heels and hose,
Some lipstick and a small birthmark
He painted on his nose!

I know that, as a man, his looks
Could make a stomach sick
But you ain't seen bone ugly 'til
You've seen him as a chick!

He's gone from dick to dickenson
Or Maya Angelou
Forget it, gal! There's no one left
Except for me and you.

Thanks for the laugh!
