Heart Packaged

Was peacefully sitting here
In thoughts I would drift
What could I send to you
To be the most loving gift

How could I place myself
Upon dear Santa’s sleigh
To arrive at your bedside
Delivered Christmas Day

Would Santa let me ride
Packaged green and red
Fastened in big red bow
Place me upon your bed

Then Christmas morning
Awaken with my surprise
Slowly you untie the bow
I’m laid before your eyes

From out of the package
The paper green and red
There I kneel before you
On sheets I would spread

Now wrapped in thought
Thinking of christmas day
For I cannot be with you
No place upon his sleigh

I sent a message to Santa
He gave that hearty cheer
Said he would deliver love
Knowing we can’t be near

Arrival Christmas morning
Santa’s promised to agree
My thoughts to be opened
Love heart packaged by me

lovely images Hope....round here he rides a stroked hog and carries gift certifs...been known to stop by the fire place for a cold bud light or two..

(sigh) Oh Hope, I know just how you feel! The only thing I want for Christmas is to fall into the arms of my sweet lady sparrow, something money can't buy. (sigh) This is sooooooo beautiful, I always love your beautiful words! (kiss on cheek) You're soooooo romantic! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Hope, thank you for sharing!

Hope,
I hang silk stockings from the chimney with care,
but Santa never puts what I want in there.
