Stories Untold From a child’s heart who has witnessed too much pain Of parents whose actions turned a home insane Deep into a past taken from behind a locked door Brought to light from this person’s very core Of too much blood splashed upon the walls Children running screaming up and down the halls Hiding keeping safe in dark places Of hurt and pain shown in all it’s faces From a young girl given in marriage to a man Not yet reached the age of being a woman Of being raped upon her wedding night Too small to put up much of a fight A child having a child whose heart she loves Enduring by strength given to her from above Husband sharing her with others was the greater sin Being cast aside because 18 was too old for him From single mother’s heart trying to provide for her child At times she lost herself and became a little wild Looking ever searching for a man who really cared That with someone she could give her heart and share Another child God brought into her home Still without husband they were raised alone Never crying she shed no healing tears Alone the struggle continued many years From a woman’s life the story stayed long untold Until turning to God she loved entering his fold Of light and truth poured out to her from Him Of forgiveness sent to wash away all sin A woman’s story still not all told yet For blessings still to come that she will get Eternal love she now has from above Yet a heart in search of a man who can love So now this story untold I give to you From a locked door now open to your view Karen Torbiak© [This message has been edited by Startime (edited 12-05-2001).] |

This is rather thought provoking. It is a quote I should have conspired long ago ^_^ LadySofia |

Karen, Wow! What courage and heart you have. Peace and strength to you, always. Sin isn't fair, but God got even, grace isn't fair either. larry c |

A very sad and emotional write this is. And a very good write too. It breaks my heart to hear about things like this. |

A write riddled with pain. A story too often lived and too seldom told. Amazing what the human spirit endures...and yet it does. "Happy people have no history" - French Proverb |

Thank you, everyone, for your heartfelt responses....sometimes reality drives the dreams from my words and reminds me what life has taught me. I wonder how often we really see the person behind the words they write. I learned to love the hard way and though it was painful it was the best lesson I could have had. **big hugs** Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams. |

Karen, It is stories like yours that make me embarrassed to be a man. I wish you well, and hope you find the peace you have sought. |
