I used to see the sunlight
Dancing off the waves
Playing like a dolphin
Twisting endlessly

I thought I saw the sunlight
Play hide and go with the clouds
"Gotcha." Ooops now gone again
Forever twinkling bright

I swore one day it shone so bright
People played coverup
Illuminating hidden truths
Revealing flaws and long lost loves

I felt the sunlight on my face
One long, cold winter day
