About a beautiful young mother whom died not so long ago... |

I actually wrote this late one evening after the children were asleep. I was inspired for some reason, at the time I didn't know why, and then a few weeks ago we lost someone that was very special to us. I know now that this was for her. She was born into misery, a life that caused her pain, running from everyone she knew with nothing left to gain. Relationships never lasted, and love was a distance thunder, her life was always a mess, a struggle and a blunder. In the shadows He stood waiting, for her to ask for His hand, He knew how deep her pride was, and He would never demand. He knew one day she would need him, and finally look his way, until then he would wait for her, patiently so to say. Surely, as He knew it would, that day finally came, she stretched her hands toward heaven and shouted out His name. Her stepped forth from the shadows...the sidelines of her life, in His hand He held...all her struggles and her strife. Her face was worn and worried as He caught a falling tear, she knew that is was time and that the end was very near. She wasn't afraid to go as she reached out for His hand, she was worn and weary from life and ready to leave this land. His smile was so sweet and tender as He looked into her eyes, she knew that she was safe now, for He had heard her cries. Her walk on earth was over, she had earned wonderful things, paradise was awaiting this, Angel With Broken Wings. |

What a sad poem! It drew a tear to my eye, very sad how something could just suddenly end. The heartbreak must have been overwhelming. I wouldnt know, I havent yet had to deal with a tragedy such as death, and I dread to have to in the future. Nice piece, and I, also a new poster, welcome you here to the site. (tears fall down my cheeks) Oh my gosh, this about broke my heart, I cried throughout this whole poem! (wipes tears) My heart and prayers goes out to this sweet mother, and I pray she will forever be happy in His embrace, as my heart goes out to her family and I wish them all the greatest love and comfort! (sad sigh) My heart is with you, sweet Tima, may all our love be with her always! (sigh) God Bless You! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Tima, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton |
