Lighting up the tree are hundreds of the tiniest lights that if one looks clearly one can see they are little fairies darting in and out within the branches as they carry the smallest lanterns which make the tree appear as if it has been brought to life by a wondrous magic all its own as it reflects the joy of life There are several forest animals are sitting around the base of the tree as if waiting in expectation for something marvellous to occur and the lovers can't help but feel the excitement building as they follow the eyes of the animals to the heavens and gasp in unison as they watch a light descending Like a brilliant star the light floats gently to the earth lighting up the yard as it expands only slowly to fad leaving behind a beautiful woman wrapped in a pure white ermine cloak and hat and who both the lovers recognize as the woman who has filled their dreams with love eternal For she is none other than Dream Weaver well known to all who still believe in magic and the eternal love of soul mates and she has come to this small place to touch the night with a magic that only she can weave to create a sense of romance and love in the dead of winter far from city lights and noise Her face is lit by the love she has for all living as she raises her hand with a delicate movement and releases a sparkling mist that drapes itself over the branches of the tree decorating it in dripping snow that leaves a magical appearance on the branches as the fairies continue to dance The lovers move closer into the open door finally feeling the chill of the night only to see as they do Dream Weaver lift her eyes to them and with a sparkle in her eyes raises her hand sending a shower of glittering mist that engulfs them penetrating into their souls with a heat of pure love The faces of the lovers are lit with joy as they marvel that now the skies are filled with beautiful big snowflakes that just seem to lend a greater magic to the night as some how they know that this snow will make it impossible for them to return to the world of men for a long time which joy is reflected in their eyes Turning to enter the cabin they know they have been blessed by the Dream Weaver with the priceless gift of White Gold Love and still without the need of words they know within their hearts that this love they feel is perfect and cannot be destroyed by man so they kneel and give thanks for the love gifted them On this Snowy Night of Magic they have found the love their hearts have searched and dreamed of so with sighs of contentment they take their places before the fire where they will share their hearts, hopes and dreams for the life they are destined to live as two hearts made one soul Karen Torbiak © Dream Weaver's Snowy Night Of Magic (part 1) /pip/Forum52/HTML/001192.html Dream Weaver's Snowy Night Of Magic (part 2) /pip/Forum52/HTML/001207.html Dream Weaver's Snowy Night Of Magic (part 3) /pip/Forum52/HTML/001212.html Dream Weaver's Snowy Night Of Magic (part 4) /pip/Forum52/HTML/001228.html Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams. I knew the magical part of this poem/story would be liked by our romantic sparrow. **hugs** Nancy...*grin* don't you just love fantasy...fairies and all...The Dream Weaver is my own creation and I have over 30 poem/stories that I have written with her bring love to those who dream. **hugs* I am so glad you liked it. James...I am glad you enjoyed this poem/story.
