*And Then We Danced Your smile was slow and easy the kind that lights up the night, going right up to your eyes, giving me shivers of delight. Saying ‘ I can’t refuse a lady’s request when its so sweetly asked.’ As you took me in your arms your desire was so thinly masked. Holding me a little too close with your hand upon my waist. The sweet words you whispered were anything but chaste. As the music begins to move us you lean and kiss me on the cheek. your soft breath upon my neck leaving me unable to speak.... and then we danced. Summon the courage to step out of your familiar rut and suddenly many of those things which held you back will no longer have the power to do so. |

Oh Andrea, this is soooo dreamy and sensual. Very well done with tasteful imagery. Enjoyed, hugs, Nancy. "A dream is a wish your heart makes..." |

Oh this reminds me of my cowboy friend Adam....he was shy to dance in front of others so I had to nag him, lol. Once I got him over his shyness, he was a great dancer. RP |

Misguided Angel... "Saying ‘ I can’t refuse a lady’s request when its so sweetly asked.’" Dancing with a cowboy is just like that... I love this poem, so much imagery... Thanks Bec, what could be better than a nice slow dance with a cute cowboy. Thanks for your comments. Andrea Summon the courage to step out of your familiar rut and suddenly many of those things which held you back will no longer have the power to do so. |
